A big congratulations to Luke who has been selected to join the Greater Western Sydney Public Schools Concert Band! Luke lodged a video audition, which we recorded here at the studio. It was a very straightforward process, he just had to perform 2 scales & 1 piece!
The concert band program will take the form of 6 full-day workshops leading to performances at the Concourse, Chatswood as part of the Arts North West Choral Festival, and at the NSW State Band Championships at the Joan Sutherland Performing Arts Centre. This is a great initiative to support students at NSW public schools, who don't have access to band opportunities within their local school community.
