It has been a busy end to Term 3, with lessons ending soon. The studio will be closing from 15th September, allowing us all to have a well earned break before the silly seasons begins!
Term 4 lessons resume on Monday 10th October.
What’s happening in term 4?
Halloween! In weeks 3 & 4 students will learn to play some “spooky tunes” & are encouraged to compose their own spooky tunes.
Students start to learn Christmas Carols in Week 6 & 7. This will give students enough time to perfect at least 1 carol before Santa arrives!
And, don’t forget, this is the LAST TERM you can claim a 2022 Creative Kids Voucher.
3 KLM students will be taking AMEB exams in Term 4. Charlotte-Grace + Agastya will be taking their very first AMEB piano exam, they are both taking the Piano for Leisure Repertoire exam & will be performing at Dural. Sophia will also be taking her Grade 3 Flute Comprehensive Exam in nearby Castle Hill. We wish Charlotte-Grace, Agastya & Sophia the best of luck for their upcoming exams!
Last week I attended the Art Music Awards in Melbourne! The AMA's are presented annually by the Australian Music Centre and APRA AMCOS, to celebrate Australian composers & performers of Australian Music. The ceremony included live performances by prominent Australian musicians & I was lucky enough to meet a number of Australian composers face-to-face!
